Yesterday, the 6th of November 2016, around 7 PM, the Bran Township authorities alerted our association about the presence of a wolf in a household in the Simon Village. This wolf would descend from the forest every evening and enter the same household.

Under the coordination of General Manager Barbulescu Flavius, the association’s crew along with the veterinarian went to the location and, after about 30 minutes of waiting, when the wolf appeared, it was shot with a tranquilizer dart. A high risk nighttime search in a forested area ensued and after about 45 minutes, the tranquilized wolf was found and transported safely to the bear reservation belonging to the Association „Millioane de Prieteni” (Millions of Friends) in Zarnesti City. Representatives from the following authorities have participated in the operation: the Bran City Hall, Bran Local Police, National Police, Constabulary, Forest Ranger.
